The soul would have no rainbow if the eyes had no tears.

inding balance and living a fulfilling, authentic life is easier said than done. It’s one thing to acknowledge that mental health is vital for navigating life. But the reality of riding out the waves and forging a way to necessary change takes true courage and sometimes patience. Sometimes we need help remembering, deep within, we have everything we need. Someone in your corner, offering expertise and guidance, can give you the support you need to reach that happier version of you.

I believe meaningful therapy comes when you find a genuine connection to your therapist. The connection - a strong rapport that sees, hears and values - is vital to the process. Knowing everyone is a fellow human journeying on a path to transformation, I bring to our time together a sense of wonder, true curiosity, gratitude and honest compassion.

I’m here to meet you where you’re at!

My practice is an inclusive, supportive and safe space for your unique strengths and qualities; and I welcome all genders, ethnicities, cultural beliefs, alternative lifestyles and neurodiverse individuals. Whether you’re struggle with interpersonal issues, anxiety, depression, grief, identity, trauma, every day stress or a challenge that defies categories, with compassion, patience and ZERO judgment we can collaborate on your treatment goals, empower your individuality and cultivate your personal resilience and growth.

Primarily I draw from an integrative, holistic approach that combines psychotherapy techniques and ideas. With a strong base in Psychodynamic Therapy, my talk therapy approaches insights, a higher quality of life and healing by considering how our energies interact with today through patterns established in our past and childhood. Our psychological forces and emotions require trust and sensitivity, and new self-awareness can change the powerful dynamics within us as much as our outer lives. Elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - focusing on present thoughts and perceptions - and Solutions Focused Brief Therapy - goal-focused approaches for building solutions - allow us to restructure self-defeating patterns and bring forward the most authentic version of YOU.

Sometimes we unconsciously hold onto our pain, and can carry around our hurt unknowingly, which negatively affects our relationship with others but also ourselves. With the connections that develop in the therapeutic process, we can uncover more of ourselves, releasing what holds us back, integrating parts of ourselves that were hidden and fully embracing our authentic selves. In our own unique breakthroughs we reach new freedoms, acceptance, self-love and meaning.

I love being a therapist. My own journeying has surprised me again and again. For all the clouds in life, remember there are rainbows: peace of mind, self-acceptance, fulfillment and happiness are always possible, and often closer than we expect as we journey to inner harmony.
